Go Seoul 2019
The Global Incubator Network (GIN) Austria and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber WKO (AußenwirtschaftsCenter Seoul) jointly provide Austrian later-stage startups the amazing opportunity to get first insights into the Korean startup ecosystem.
We bring you to the energetic and fast growing startup hub Seoul and connect you with local partners, experts and relevant stakeholders. The accelerator program goSeoul supports you in your internationalization plans to Asia with extensive hands-on experience, customized networking opportunities and valuable business connections.
Participants will get first-hand insights into the local market and ecosystem as well as introductions to corporates, distributors, manufacturers, development partners, investors and any other relevant stakeholder of the local startup community.
The accelerator program goSeoul will take place from September 17th to September 30th, 2019 with the possibility to extend your stay for an additional week.
Seoul is a single-market city and has the 4th highest mobile penetration (83%) and the highest credit card penetration (5 credit cards per person) in the world. Therefore, Seoul gives endless opportunities for innovation and rapid adoption in sectors such as mobile commerce. South Korea has the highest government backing per capita for startups, which is why the Korean startup ecosystem has grown enormously within the last years.
Seoul's business ecosystem is widely known for its country’s conglomerates Samsung, LG, KIA and Hyundai but it has also developed to be a place for startups to thrive. South Korea has grown to be a country, which provides excellent conditions such as institutional support from the government, a large number of investors as well as a market showing enthusiastic responses to startups.
In this target region we work closely together with our cooperation partner D.CAMP, a non profit organization which offers co-working spaces, networking and incubation in one place.
Are you curious to find out what the program will look like?
