Gin is your Door-Opener to Austria & EUROPe

goAustria is a tailor-made incubation and internationalization program to set up a European base in Austria, giving you access to the whole European Union and its single market with over 500 million customers. 

goAustria offers you two tailor-made approaches to internationalize:

  1. goAustria two weeks program: participate in a two weeks incubation and internationalization program with individual mentoring, pitch training, workshops and matching with investors (at fixed dates)
  2. goAustria individual: develop your individualised internationalization plan with individual mentoring and tailor-made training (at any time)

goAustria is a tailor-made incubation and internationalization program to set up a European base in Austria, giving you access to the whole European Union and its single market with over 500 million customers. The program will match you a with a personal start-up mentor, who will support you in validating and expanding your business model and help you to build your network in Europe. During the program, you will receive valuable insights regarding the Austrian and European markets. The GIN goAustria program will also cover your costs related to flights and accommodation in Austria for two weeks.

Internationalize your start-up and conquer Austria & Europe 

Are you an innovative start-up looking to internationalize and expand your business in Austria and Europe? Apply for our exclusive goAustria incubation program! 




2-weeks incubation and internationalization program in May 2018 and October 2018.

Target Group

Targeting innovative founders and young companies with a first prototype or a product and market experience. Focus is given to the GIN target countries (Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Israel and South Korea) and other non-European countries.  
May: later stage startups 
October: early stage startups

Sector FocusICT (IoT, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Blockchain) and their application fields,  but not limited to
ParticipantsA maximum of 10 startups will be selected and invited to participate per batch.
BenefitsParticipate in an exclusive two weeks internationalization and incubation program with individual mentoring, pitch training, workshops, legal advice, and networking opportunities. You will have the chance to work in the best co-working spaces in Austria, and get in touch with investors and other Austrian and international start-ups. All costs for the two week program, including  flights and accomodation are covered.

What do you have to invest?

Costs for mentoring and coaching, workshops and co-working spaces will be covered by GIN goAustria. Further accommodation and travel costs will be included. The goAustria program supports one person per start-up only.

  • you explain why you want to participate by filling this questionnaire
  • our budget is not used already
  • we will find a suitable startup mentor
  • your product fits in the Austrian market

goAustria Fall 2018:

The sixth goAustria round offers a two weeks incubation program, from September 17th until October 03rd2018 in Vienna and Styria. It will give participants the opportunity to explore the Austrian and European markets, as well as to find new investors and/or collaboration partners. One major asset of the program is the personal start-up mentor who will be matched to each start-up, supporting it to validate their business model to network with investors and relevant stakeholders, as well as design an internationalization plan.

  • goAustria May 2016: Find out who participated

    The first batch hosted 7 top start-ups from Israel, China, Azerbajian and Rusia participated and featured exclusive access to the Pioneers Festival Vienna.

  • goAustria October 2016: Find out who participated

    The second batch hosted 10 top start-ups from Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Israel and Indonesia with a breakout session in Tyrol, including exclusive coworking at the COWO, the highest co-working space of Europe, at an altitude of 1963m

  • goAustria June 2017: Find out who participated

    In the third batch 10 top start-ups from Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Israel and India were invited by the GIN program management. Two weeks packed with workshops, mentoring, investor meetings and as highlight the start-ups could participate exclusively at the Pioneers Festival Vienna and got their own booth as well.

  • goAustria October 2017: Find out who participated

    The fourth goAustria round offered a two-week incubation program, packed with workshops, events and networking, a special highlight was the breakout session to Linz, where the participants met some leading corporates of Austria, to collaborate with.

  • goAustria May 2018: Find out who participiated

    The highlights of the fifth round were the participation of the Pioneers'18 and the second GIN Corporate Day, where our goAustria startups participated and pitched as well.
