New Face for Austria's First-Stop-Shop Austrian Startups
GIN welcomes the new CEO of Austrian startups Markus Raunig and wishes him all the best for his new role
The 26-year-old Markus Daunig takes over as Managing Director of Austrian Startups and will therefore follow in the footsteps of Christoph Jeschke.
Austrian Startups has been established over three years ago and their monthly meetings ("Stammtisch") have become the place to be for all stakeholders of the local community.
Up until now, the local startup community has grown heavily and today it is "not about building a local ecosystem but helping to create global competitiveness. It’s more on the international uplink and changing policy & culture and not only providing a common voice within Austria" (for the whole article, please proceed here), as Christoph Jeschke mentions in his farewell later.
GIN looks forward to continue the successful collaboration with Austrian Startups and wishes Markus Daunig a good start for his new role.
