The Go Austria program offers participants a personal startup mentor who will support you in validating your business model, and connect you with relevant stakeholders.
These Mentors are the USP of the program. They create a tailor-made internationalization strategy together with the startups, and either come from a relevant field of studies or have excellent connections to the startup ecosystem.

Martin has a proven track record in growing businesses internationally in both corporate positions with Brain Force AG, IBM and Cisco as well as in the field of Start Up’s as the founder of SolveDirect. He can translate between the Start Up and the corporate world and knows how to set expectations that lead to operational success. Martin introduced ‚Cisco Entrepreneurs in Residence‘ in Europe which was ranked the #1 corporate acceleration program only 20 months later in Forbes Magazin 6/2016.
Tom is known as Interims Manager in digital companies, Angel Investor, Adivsor and University lecturer with a more than 15 years track record. He is especially interested in companies in the area of machine learning, digital marketing technology and IoT. Leadership and Innovation management are the topics that drive him most in his management and leading activities.
Daniel holds two master degrees, one in entrepreneurship and another in business informatics. While he worked for a big company in the ICT sector, he founded his company “Spoken Language System”, what brought him his first experiences of entrepreneurship. Today he is Managing Partner at CONDA, where he is its driving force in marketing and sales and of Startup Live but also he is a member of the board at AustrianStartups, one of Austrias biggest startup communities.

Werner is an Austrian Business Angel (Business Angel of the year 2012) and founder of New Venture Scouting. His goal is to connect the worlds of startups and corporations. Before that he was 14 years in senior management and federal administration.
Klaus has more than 25 years experience in the Life Science/ Biotech area. Currently he is owner of Danube BioSolutions and is working as Interim Manager/ Freelancer for several companies. He is also supporting start-up companies. His expertise ranges from recombinant and plasmatic proteins, viral vaccines, and analytical methods, to the knowledge of applicable national and international GxP regulations. He has also experience in business development, technology transfer, patent management and as Biosafety Manager.

Bernhard is an experienced startup coach and a life science industry veteran. After a successful industry career in the pharmaceutical industry having hold senior, national and global positions, Bernhard switched sides and started his own service company. His mission as entrepreneur is to boost interim management in the life science industry. As a startup coach, Bernhard mentored several start-ups in the diagnostics, drug development, medical device and health IT field and has built up a relevant network.
Elisaweta owns 8 years experiences of international Executive Search and Business Coaching expecially for the Life Science Industry. She is founder of in –spectum and advisor for Life Sciences activities of Venionaire Capital. Before her career in the coaching and advising sector, she successfully developed and launched own patented devices for drinking water analysis. As well she gained experiences in Sales, Key Account Management and Global Business Development and Technology in the Life Sciences Industry.

Jürgen has an extensive background in global companies such as Bacardi, L’Oréal and McDonald’s. He is an expert in marketing, press relations and business development and passionate about branding. After a sabbatical in Shanghai, where he connected with the local start-up scene, he is currently working on his own start-up and supports other start-ups to chase their dreams. Jürgen is also advisor at the Vienna-based Io2 Hub and works with IoT and smart technology start-ups on their positioning and market entry strategies.
Alexis dedicated her last 12 years to creating an ecosystem that can enable individuals to make use of their potential of positive societal transformation. Part of her journey she co-founded the Impact Hub Vienna and freims a business offering experience design and consulting solutions based on emergence and engagement of collective wisdom. She worked with various entrepreneurs in all stages, with a focus on business and revenue models and impact investment case. Alexis is currently managing director of the Impact Hub Vienna and key expert for the Incubation and Acceleration programs across the global Impact Hub network.
Birgit is an advisory board member of AustrianStartups and co-initiator & steering committee member of the IEEE International Conference on Business Informatics. She has acted as an innovation scout and jury member repeatedly. Furthermore Birgit is responsible for the innovation center at the University of Technology in Vienna. What started with a supplementary curriculum on innovation for master students grew within three years to a cross-faculty Innovation Center offering different services for scientists.
Eszter has 18 year long experience in infectious diseases biologics, including discovery and pre-clinical development of novel vaccines, adjuvants and anti-infective monoclonal antibodies. In 2010, she co-founded Arsanis, Inc and serves as the Chief Scientific Officer of the company as well as the managing director of the wholly owned Austrian subsidiary Arsanis Biosciences GmbH.

Before Herwig joined i5invest as CEO in 2015, he worked for PwC in the Deals Practice for over 10 years. In his current position Herwig leverages his experience in order to support IT / Tech companies in all company stages. Besides his work, he is a frequent speaker and trainer at Startup-, Tech- and Deals-conferences. Herwig graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, holds a CEMS Master’s degree in International Management, and is currently enrolled in the Master program for Renewable Energy in CEE at the Vienna University of Technology.

Since 2004 he has founded two companies in the IT field, is shareholder of two companies and advisor to two tech foundations as well of the Austrian Incubator of the Vienna University of Technology.
