In partnership with the European Forum Alpbach and the University of Cambridge, hosted by Werkstätte Wattens, GIN invites early-stage international startups and spin-offs  to participate in the IECT Summer School!

GIN will cover the costs for up to 3 early stage startups from the GIN target countries Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and Israel. 

The Summer School is located in Austria, Wattens and takes place from August 16th to August 22nd

Who can apply? 

The target group of the Summer School are Master and PhD students, post-docs and researchers from the fields of technology, science, advanced engineering, life science, physics, mathematics, IT and AI as well as early-stage start-ups with technology or science projects.





What does GIN goAustria individual cover?

For up to 3 startups or spin-offs from the GIN target countries the GIN goAustria Individual program will cover all costs:

GIN target countries: Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Israel and South Korea

Important: make sure you enter "GIN goAustria" in the registration when asked how you learned about the summer school!!

And to put the cherry on the cake

The three candidates with the most promising ideas of the Summer School will be invited to pitch his/her project at the Falling Walls session of the Alpbach Technology Symposium on August 23nd 2018. Out of these three presentations, the audience will select a winner, who will be able to attend the Falling Walls Conference in Berlin
